Integrating With Vitalograph – Client Installation

Clinic-Assist provides integration with Vitalograph equipment to facilitate spirometry and ECG screenings.  In the near future it will also provide automations for Vitalograph audiometry.

This article provides information on the installation of the Clinic-Assist Vitalograph client required for integration.

Assumptions

Spirotrac software (version 1.18 or later) is installed and confirmed as operational on the same PC from which Clinic-Assist is to be accessed and you are competent in its use.

Note: If you encounter issues with Spirotrac, please contact Vitalograph support for further assistance

Downloading and Installing the Clinic-Assist Vitalograph Client

From the Settings menu, select Setup followed by selecting the ‘Cloud’ tab.

Click on the ‘Vitalograph Client’ link and select run (or ‘Open’ depending on your browser version).  You will then be prompted to select the location for your install.  We recommend continuing with the default selections by pressing ‘Next’, followed by ‘Install’ and finally ‘Finish’

If successful, you will be presented with the ‘Clinic-Assist Vitalograph Communicator’ Sign In page.

Log in using the same details as you would use to login to the main Clinic-Assist application.  If successful, you should receive a positive ‘Synchronisation’ alert.

A desktop shortcut should now be available to you.

We would recommend that you log in to the Clinic-Assist Vitalograph Communicator at the beginning of each day.  You only need to log in once throughout the day as the communicator will remain logged in and active for the duration you have your PC switched on.
